Card is in great shape and it went directly from the pack to a protective sleeve that you can see in the photo. It has not been removed or even touched since to protect it's value as a collectible.
This Rikpen Jr card would make a great gift to any baseball fan especially with the holidays coming up or as an investment as it's sure to only continue to rise in value year after year as with other Hall of Famers. As the owner of the consecutive games played record with well over 2,000 many consider this one of the most difficult records in all of sports and it will never be broken. A player would have to play 16 years straight without being sick enough, hurt enough, or having a slump bad enough where you miss a game just to get to around 2500 games. Many don't even play in the game long enough to have the chance to get within 1,000 games let alone play at a high enough level for long enough to do break his record.
